2014 Singapore Young Physicists Tournament (SYPT)

  3. 2014 SYPT Details (from organizer)
    • Questions:
      • Selection question (to be given later): All teams to submit a report in Nov 2013. Based on report, 8 schools would be selected for the finals at end Jan 2014.  
      • Category B questions 1 to 8 (to be given later) (Sec 4 or below): For finals in Jan 2014, each team may prepare all questions for physics fight.
  4. External briefing by organizers on 2014 SYPT
    • 6 selected students once confirmed are to register online for a briefing and attend the briefing.
    • Date: 28 August (Wed) at NUS, 2.30 pm, LT 26 NUS. 
  5. Internal selection for SYPT 2014
    • 2 teams of 3 students each would be selected to represent the school.
    • Sec 3 students who are interested:
    • Students are to do the task individually and email Proposal latest by Wednesday 21 August 4.00 pm to Mr Ang JL email. 
      • The Proposal would be marked to assess you for selection 
      • Your BT results and your physics teachers' recommendations may also be considered
      • Shortlisted students would be notified via email.

    • 2013 Dec - 2014 Jan - Top 8 teams work on finals projects. 
    • 2014 Jan 18 (Sat) - finals for SYPT Physics fights at RGS (Category B).
