  • Timing: 2.00 to 5.00 pm - report at 1.50 pm 
  • Venue: Computer Lab 2 (level 4), Nanyang Girls' High School
  • Attire: Normal school attire with school-based T-shirt. Bring along a jacket.  
  • Instructor(s): Engineers from Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA)  
  • Description of workshop 
    • This workshop introduces the key concepts of data analytics and how can we use data analytics to transform the way we make decisions.
    • After the workshop, students should be able to:
  1.  Describe what data analytics is about. 
  2. List techniques to explore and describe data.
  3. Define what supervised and unsupervised machine learning is.
  4. Relate how machine learning algorithms can be used to solve problems.
  5. Describe the data analytics process model.
