• 6 to 10 Jul 2017 - Attend IYPT 2017 Fights in Singapore at University Town @ National University of Singapore (NUS)
• Date TBC - Sharing by IYPT 2017 team and tour of IYPT lab facilities 
• 2 Aug 2017 -  Briefing on SYPT problems at NTU SPMS LT2 
• August - Internal selection of 2 teams of 3 students each 
• Before 24 Oct Online registration of teams 
• Sep to Nov 10 Nov - conduct experiments in the physics labs/rehearsal of presentations for shortlisting session 
• 11 Nov (Sat) - Shortlisting session for all participating schools (presentation for judging). Top 8 teams would be selected for finals (Category B).
• End Nov - 2018 Jan - Top 8 teams work on finals projects. 
• 27 Jan 2018 (Sat) - finals for SYPT Physics fights at CHIJ SNGS (Category B) if in Top 8 teams
